Agree, that seems to be the most likely the outcome.  Though, Musk continues to use his mega-phone (which the media happily gives him) to bully and badger Tweeter.  He is softening them up to be able to get a significant reduction of the deal terms.

This has got to be the worst thing that could happen to any company.
