Hedge funds are in a frenzy to make a profit.
So what do they do? They look for the worst news and pile
on the short sales.
After all, there is no uptick rule and in this market it is
clear that making a stock rise is more difficult than making it
fall.
First, they bring down the value of the company's stock, then
the journalists pile on with negative articles. Then, the
analysts line up against the company with word like bankrupcy.
You don't have to read "The Secret" to know that when everybody
says that a leveraged company will no longer be able to meet its
obligations, that will become the reality.
So beware in this market of unfortunate victims like Pilgrim's
Pride. When they target you, get ready for your head to get
cut off and fed to a bunch of hungry animals.
