BF Hardline
update
BF Hardline peak users this weekend, its third, was 168K, down
from 283K in its first weekend. So despite additional sales in week
2 and a discount to $40 this past week at multiple US retailers,
the peak online count is down 40%. That to me does not sound
impressive at all. Right now, the current online population is only
16K higher than the 17 months old BF4. I don't think it's normal
for a new franchise iteration to be barely ahead of its previous
one. Usually the new iteration sees a massive spike above current
user count as players move from the old to the new.
Q4 sales may well have met expectations. You know how EA likes
to ship as much as they can and discount later. The contribution to
FY16 doesn't look promising though.

Are these STEAM numbers? i noted in March on the XBOX 360 that
GTAV was the #1 coop game. COD:AW was #1 multiplayer game. not sure
how they compared to each other or what actual numbers were/are.
Just found it amazing that so many people play GTA V. Looks like
some of the bugs are getting worked out in heists.
