OT - INFN CIEN
<p>Can't cut and paste the link - but INFN reported
yesterday, and at barrons.com is a very good article of an
interview with Fallon about the future, rivals, 'winners and
survivors', etc. Also includes analysts views.</p>
<p>With Fallon talking about 20% growth, a market cap larger
than CIEN (!), and nearly calling CIEN a 'survivor' (i.e., not a
money maker), it makes me wonder how good a bet CIEN is - I've kept
an amount of CIEN I was using for options, figuring I'd ride it up
for a while, which it has done until today. I think Jon was in CIEN
and had a 'hold' cache perhaps. </p> <p>All
opinions on CIEN would be welcomed. Also, although INFN fell
slightly on the news of a beat on many fronts, I'm starting to
wonder if $25 may be a realistic target - but more interested in
the CIEN question - thanks.</p>

I have no CIEN. I bought and held it for the option premiums
(selling calls) mostly. Over 20, it did not seem like as
great of an idea so I have not held it since last shares were
called away..
