Another article about 5G -
Huawei, NOK, ALU and Ericson racing to develop it
"Experts normally try to describe 5G with reference to speed in
terms of gigabits per second. Scientists talk about
“peak” data rates of 10 Gbit/s — ten times faster
than 4G — although the University of Surrey has trialled
speeds of 1 Tbit/s (terabit per second).
Capacity — the volume of data flow — is estimated to
be anywhere between 100 and 1,000 times higher than 4G, and the
demand for data is expected to rise 1000-fold over the next
decade."

The article also mentions the fact that 50B devces will be
connected to the internet over time. As I have stated
multiple times, the telecom equipment industry is in a secular
uptrend, I believe 50B devices is only a start and maybe a
conservative estimate. In my household there are three cell
phones, three tablets, three computers, one Roku, one
Chromecast and 4 WiFi speakers, today. That
is 15 devices for a household of three. That is a 5 to 1
ratio. Over time that ratio could grow significantly, first
in the developed world, then in developing countries and on.
