OT - Arvind Bhatia kiss of death - kudos to those who sold above 28 yesterday. LGF has been in 'rally' mode for a little while now - Jeffries? (can't copy) raised price to $37 from $37 with 'buy'. I am sore tempted to sell 6/19 covered calls on non-buyout stock position perhaps at 33 - but wondering how far it might run first. CIEN hitting and ending near new highs for several days now. MKM? Jeffries? raised price from $25 to $27 w/'buy' as well. Same covered call dilemma. That attractive call price jump for 6/05 is the day after earnings.Never intended it to be a 'holdings' position, but the sector at large is going to grow, at least the 'winners'. and it could be one of them. Nsthil (RIP) was exactly right about teen apparrel sector, when he said last winter that the 'survivors' ( I think those co's that are still around, but bruised and struggling badly can be labeled as 'losers' - e.g. ANF) emerging as sales increase - AEO up 4%+ on better than expected numbers. At $16.60, it's a long way from when Nsthil and Ben bought in, around the $10-$12 price, and it's still yielding above 3% div.
