Why It's Time to Take Google's PC Operating System Seriously

This article appears in the Wall Street Journal (subscription only), the gist of it is that this author who has mainly used Macs at home and PCs at work finds himself using his ChromeBook most of the time, he talks about how improvements in usefulness and power make it his first choice.

This is just another shot across the bow for all the incumbents in the PC segment, neither MSFT, APPL play in this tiny but sure to grow market.  INTC could also have just an insignificant portion if at all.

The warning signs have been coming one by one and the Industry seems to have fared well so far, but the cracks are widening and it is only a matter of time before all of this combined are enough of a percentage hit to all these players to make a dent in their revenues.
