Re Fees on ADR
Dividends
OK, I spoke with one representative from one of the brokerage
houses I use. He said:
Fees vary from one ADR to the next. ADRs have a designated
bank which sponsors it (BNY Mellon in Nokia's case).
According to him the fee is arrived at on a variety of factors,
including the European burse that it trades at in the foreign
country, the country and of course the sponsoring bank, hence the
difference in charges.

It does. The state of this world is such that every
freaking company, every contractor and/or every municipality/state
gov and the Feds have their hands in your pocket. It is
ridiculous how they all are shaving money off your paycheck or
check book.

Jester, lt:
Unfortunately what you described (bourse fees, etc.) squares
with my experience. Both correct: Scam, they have the have their
hand in your pocket, and they shove things down your throat (oh,
wait...that last thing is MSFT''s deal, lol.)
10 days ago the world was ending with Brexit. Now the banks are
humming, earnings are in the bag, and we're at new highs ever. But
then, why should it make sense? Just let the optical networkers do
well, adjust my positions comfortably, and I'm happy regardless of
the rest.
