Algos in charge
So Netflix crapped the bed, sending stocks down to levels not
seen since a day ago. But if we believe the narrative, the market
is at these levels because of earnings. OK.
Anyway, look at the algos in charge. It's amazing. One
oscillation from $85 to $86.5 an hour after open, then a smaller
oscillation, then it stays within a few cents for the last 4.5
hours, as if being down 13.8% on the day is *exactly* the price all
of the investors in the market have suddenly decided is the correct
value for it.
