NOK: Head of Technologies
Divisions to leave
This statement seems quite interesting, specially with Ericson
needing a CEO:
"Given (the unit's) progress, now is the right time for me to
explore new opportunities to pursue my passion for building and
transforming businesses," Haidamus said in a statement.

lt cap,
Your inference sounds correct to me - where else would he be
going? Too bad there aren't any 'poaching' taboos in play. If he
does go to ERIC, I hope the 'Peter Principle' comes into play. A
long-shot for sure - sounds like he's done a fine job at
NOK.
We're awfully close to CIEN's CC. They've backed off a bit from
their run at 22. I don't think the CC will likely be a 'neutral'
event. I think it either moves the stock a fair bit higher, or a
fair bit lower - the latter case probably making the stk 22 call
premiums almost insignificant.
Clearly the market is very unforgiving of downward surprises or
guidance. I still can't get over how hard INFN fell after already
losing 1/2 its value before the CC. Must keep Fallon up at night. I
know it's made a religious man out of me - I pray for them every
night.

It sure does, however, since he is staying on for a month to
smooth out the transition, that may diminish the chances of
my speculation.
