OT - NOK

OT - NOK Was reading that analysts' price targets for
NOK ranged from $5 to $9.20, with an average of $7.03. The last ten
or so changes in upgrade/downgrade have all been to the upside.
(Acknowleding that Raymond James upgraded it to 'neutral' from
'sell'.) I know speculation is useless, but $7.03 - bring it on.
Also read a story about NOK 4.5 g and 4.9g products, which, if I
read it right, are products in the shift in migration to 5g, but lt
cap would understand the tech better than I. Nice that i's up by 11
cents today. No news on why that I can find. But every penny counts
with the number of shares some folks hold, so it's all good - at
least for today.

Jamok,
I am no RF guy, I am a Soft Bit type, so what I am going
to say may be stupid, so take it with a grain of salt. From
the PR it was unclear to me if this 4.5G and 4.9G Radio is
upgradable for full compatibility with the eventual 5G standards.
The PR touts it as an evolutionary step towards 5G, yet it
does not explicitly state that it will be upgradable be it via
software or a hardware module to make it 5G compliant. So I
am unclear how much revenue it can generate if it were not
upgradable.
Still it is a positive as some carriers may opt for this
type of upgrade in congested metropolitan areas that need it.
BTW, a second high level executive (CTO) has left Nokia’s
Technologies division, not sure what to make of it, but it is tough
to spin that in a positive fashion without any context on their
departures.
