NOK OT
<p><p>Of course I am not complaining, but I don't
see anything that has the networking sector on fire today. I read
the news, NOK will present some of the new (er?) technology at a
showcase this week. NOK phones are now slated to be released in
2017 - and that adds up to a 6% gain? What? (lt cap - kudos on
buying lower).</p> <p>On Cien, up nearly 3%, a story I
read in Barrons said 'don't expect any upside guidance' in the
upcoming CC. </p> <p>Even INFN is not 'playing
dead'. '</p> <p>I like it, but I certainly don't 'get
it'. But then, I don't have to 'get it.'</p>
<p> </p></p> <p>Oh, and BTW, I looked
into lt/st cap gains in order to do some tax loss selling - and how
badly NOK screwed us in terms of forcing us to sell ALU shares for
a huge st cap gain, and then re-buy the shares of NOK. In 4 years,
this will be forgotten (I am contemplating selling almost all of my
INFN to correct that plus). But I'm royally teed off - It appears
to be not a case of 'what were they thinking' but that it seems,
they weren't thinking at all when the sprang this one on
us.</p>

NOK has now repurchased nearly E100M or about 10% of the
intended E1B in repurchases.
This is the link where those of you who own NOK can check for
the share repurchases NOK is doing, I believe it is posted every
Monday and it details all of the repurchases they have done to
date. When you get to the Web page via the link below, scroll down
to the link that downloads the 2017-2017 repurchases:
