OT - VZ
OT - Verizon
Verizon announced that users who use more than 200 (mb? gb? -
doesn't matter) per month - which includes those on unlimited data
plans, will either be forced to sign up for new plans liimiting
data to 100 (mb? gb?), or forced to go somewhere else. (Which I
take it to mean VZ will just cancel the accounts.)
Obviously, not so good for networking stocks, as data carriers
find ever-more creative in delaying buildouts that can handle more
data transmission. The thesis that data can't shrink is still
intact, but when that changes is unknown, as carriers find new
rabbits to pull out of the hat.
CIEN, INFN, NOK all down mildly - doesn't seem to ruffled them
much today.
