Too late to pull the
trigger

OT - INFN - As I wrote, I have been watching their
momentum continue apace for quite a while now, and had mulled
buying some. Hadn't kept track of when earnings were,

but apparently they were today, and they beat by .05%, and
are up 16%! Probably too late to pull that trigger. Fallon
(sp?) the CEO will step down in several months and they

already have a replacement.

I'm
perplexed by CIEN. As much as they've risen, they haven't matched
the big tech companies, including APPL and NVDA, both of which seem
to be in the 'oxygen mask' seats, and just keep

getting richer. (Jon had asked when does the bubble pop -
wish I knew.) It feels to me like if CIEN reports a very good
quarter, like last time, they will probably skyrocket, just as APPL
rose 10% on earnings and Intel fell 10%. But if they screw the
pooch this quarter - I think they may be treated like Intel. I'd
bet on the former, but.....how? Buying stock and selling calls
seems limiting, given how far companies can move. Buying shares and
hoping to God they come through can be too risky. Hard to say how
to play it. I don't want to lose more shares to calls.
