BIO

John M. Eade is president and director of research at Argus Research Corporation. He has also served as the firm’s analyst for the pharmaceutical, healthcare, media, publishing, and retail industries. In addition to writing a weekly investment column and authoring his firm’s report “Portfolio Selector,” Mr. Eade has written columns for Quicken.com, CBSMarketwatch.com, Retire with Moneyand On Investing. He is vice chairman and a founder of the Investorside Research Association and a member of the Downtown Economists Club, the New York Society of Security Analysts, and AIMR. Mr. Eade holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and an M.B.A. in finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
